TOO CUTE

OH MY GOD, Goldfish snack crackers now have little starfishies in them! I'm in love. :) I'm going to have to pick up some more while they're still on sale.

There is this woman across the street in her car, talking on her cellphone. Excuse me, YELLING into her cellphone. I could actually hear her over my TV, which is cranked way up so I can hear it in the kitchen. I'm trying to eavesdrop but am having trouble focusing.

So this morning I woke up and looked at my watch. It was 8:00. I panicked! I was like, oh shit, how am I going to explain this to Bev? I've been late to work a lot lately. So I was trying to figure out what I was going to say, and I noticed that Hour of Power was on and with great relief I realized it was Sunday. Whew!!! :)

Then I watched Hour of Power for a little bit cause I remember my Nana used to watch. I was especially taken with the hymn:

"We walk by faith and not by sight;
we trust in God and not in might;
For in our darkness He is light"

which pretty much encapsulates what people find objectionable about religion, doesn't it? Faith without sight, blind faith, based on nothing; not only believed, but loudly proclaimed. It was an interesting observation.
