President Obama!!!!

My grandmother served white families in the South. She had to sit in the back of the bus, behind a curtain, because she was black. We now have a black president. My hands are shaking and I can't stop crying. There are fireworks going off in my neighborhood. I'm all verklemt. Katie Couric had tears, too. As one of the Scandanavian profs said earlier "today is an historic day in American history."
